Clinical Study Reveals Berries Can Burn Fat

What!? Many of us have known for years that berries were good for us.  They are high in antioxidants and fight free radicals.  Now, a study published in the Journal of Nutrition indicated that a daily dose of blueberries may increase sensitivity to insulin and reduce developing diabetes. The clinical study concluded that obese, non-diabetic and insulin-resistant participants who had a blueberry smoothie daily for 6 weeks experienced a 22 per cent change in insulin sensitivity, compared to only 4.9 per cent in the placebo group.  In essence, the less insulin your body releases, the less belly fat.
